Tamarix ramosissima 'Pink Cascade'

Tamarix produces masses of light, feathery plumes of tiny, rich pink flowers on lovely arching branches in late summer and early autumn. Stems are clothed in slender, light green leaves. This vigorous shrub or small tree is ideal for creating a colourful splash in a sunny border. It's a valuable windbreak in warm, coastal areas, thriving in any well-drained soil, except shallow chalk.
