Thuja occidentalis 'Fire Chief' - White Cedar

The Thuja occidentalis ‘Fire Chief’, also known as White Cedar, is a compact, slow-growing evergreen shrub that adds year-round structure and colour to the garden. Its dense form and finely textured foliage emerge bright golden-green in spring, turning a fiery orange-red at the tips in autumn and winter. Perfect for adding warmth and contrast to borders, rock gardens, or containers, this hardy shrub maintains its neat shape without pruning.

Thriving in full sun to partial shade, ‘Fire Chief’ prefers moist, well-drained soil and is tolerant of cold, wind, and urban conditions. Water regularly during dry spells to help it establish.
