The Vincent Van Gogh is a strong and reliable tulip that starts off by blooming white and gradually turns to surprising burgundy to almost black after a few days through its flowering period. A Tulip that has proved a real star at the RHS Wisley Tulip trial gardens, 'Van Gogh' was named to mark the 125th anniversary of the death of famous artist Vincent Van Gogh, unveiled in the world famous Keukenhof gardens in Holland.
The Dutch of course know a thing or two about tulips, being originally responsible for Tulipmania, when a single bulb traded for a small or indeed large fortune! We have purchased the entire remaining stock of the single grower with 'Van Gogh' - so you're unlikely to find it else where, and the good thing with us, it's not at Tulipmania prices but affordable for all to bring starry nights right to your doorstep, patio or garden with its bold near-black flowers.

Plant bulbs from mid to late autumn. Can be placed in borders or container pots. These enjoy full sun or partial shade Plant your bulbs 2-3x as deep as the bulb is in height. Space bulbs in the soil roughly 2x bulb diameter apart.
For best outcome, plant in well-drained soil in full sun position or partial shade. Plant in Autumn and to flower in Spring.
