Tulipa Aquila - Pack of 6

Tulipa 'Aquila' is a unique double tulip with creamy yellow petals edged in crimson red, creating a painted, flame-like effect. The densely packed, peony-style blooms bring texture and colour variation to the spring garden, with tones that soften as the flower matures. 'Aquila' blooms in mid to late spring and looks fantastic in mixed borders, containers, or cut flower displays.

Plant in a sunny spot with well-drained soil to encourage strong growth and full flowering. Space bulbs 10cm apart and plant 10–15cm deep in autumn. After flowering, remove spent blooms but leave the foliage until it dies back naturally. In clay or moisture-retentive soils, lift and store the bulbs once the leaves have yellowed. Tulipa 'Aquila' brings painterly charm and warm contrast to any spring planting scheme.
