Refined yet powerful, Tulip 'Purple Pride' is a stately Darwin Hybrid tulip that opens to reveal broad, silky petals in a rich lilac-purple hue with cool undertones. Its large blooms stand on tall, upright stems, bringing vertical presence and elegance to mid-spring displays. Long-lasting and dependable, this tulip is equally at home in formal borders or naturalistic plantings and makes a bold statement in cut flower arrangements.

Plant bulbs 15cm deep and 12cm apart in fertile, well-drained soil with full sun exposure. To create a harmonious colour scheme, pair white varieties such as 'Hakuun'. For contrast and added interest, mix with orange tulips like 'Ballerina'.
