This is the golden yellow counterpart to the highly popular orange form we grow, being one of the most striking and dramatic plants you will ever grow. With an exotic look, the Crown Imperial Fritillary is fully hardy and easy to grow, and will create an imposing display in your garden.

Reaching a impressive 100-120cms tall, Fritillaria imperialis lutea with produces majestic crowns of golden-yellow bell-shaped flowers, topped with a crown of green foliage from mid-spring. Planted towards the rear of garden borders, it will illuminate early displays of Spring flowers and catch the eye with its towering, statuesque stems.

Try a few cut stems of this incredible plant in a vase to make an indoor floral arrangement that will stop people in their tracks, or of course simply enjoy a real spectacle in the garden.
