Veronica Purpleicious

Purpleicious Veronica is a great clump-forming perennial that is highly useful in a sunny border or patio planting scheme. It grows compact masses of serrated dark green leaves on light green stems which reach around 65cm high. From this vegetation dense spikes of gorgeous deep violet star-shaped flowers bloom for a long period, between summer and early autumn. These colourful Veronicas are a unique and eye-catching addition to your garden, and they work best when planted en-mass.

Like all Veronicas this species grows best when planted in full sun but can also do well in partial shade. It is adaptable able to thrive in exposed or sheltered gardens and can establish in any soil as long as it is well-drained.
