Vitex 'Chicagoland Blues' - Summertime Blues Chaste Berry Tree

‘Chicagoland Blues’ is a unique variety of the Chaste Tree with a rounded form, compact growth, and drought tolerance making it the perfect small-medium shrub, ideal for smaller garden spaces or mixed border planting schemes.

Its aromatic foliage is held on upright and spreading stems with a distinctive shape made up of 5-7 leaflets. The tall panicles of fragrant, lavender flowers bloom in autumn on dark-coloured stems. It will fill your garden with a lovely scent and colour! Originating from dry areas of North America it will thrive in full sun and is drought tolerant, able to grow in well-drained soil.
