Allium sphaerocephalon - Pack of 20 Bulbs
Allium sphaerocephalon, also known as the Drumstick Allium, is a gorgeous addition to summer borders. Plant en masse and these diminutive claret-coloured flowers will look amazing emerging from a screen of foliage, or against a backdrop of ornamental grasses. They gently fade as summer comes to a close, adding subtle movement and colour contrast to the garden.
For best results, plant the bulbs around 10–15 cm deep and 8–10 cm apart in well-drained soil, ideally in full sun. These low-maintenance, pollinator-friendly blooms combine beautifully with other summer stars such as Echinacea, Lavandula, or Nepeta for a soft and naturalistic effect.
The flowers of this Allium are also edible, making a great addition to seasonal salads.
Supplied as a pack of 20 bulbs.
