Calluna vulgaris 'Multicolour' is an appealing heather variety known for its ever-changing leaves. Its needle-like leaves change colour from golden-yellow to stunning crimson and orange accents throughout autumn and winter. From late summer to early autumn, this hardy, evergreen shrub produces petite, soft purple blooms that complement its vivid leaves. This low-maintenance plant is ideal for adding visual interest to borders, rockeries, and pots, and it looks great all year.
Plant in acidic, well-drained soil in full sun or light shade. To keep the plant looking nice after flowering, prune sparingly. Ideal for ground cover, rock gardens, and mixed pots. Water lightly, particularly during dry seasons, and mulch once a year to keep the soil acidic and wet.
