Ceanothus Blue Mound
Ceanothus 'Blue Mound' is a compact, evergreen Californian Lilac that produces a profusion of sky-blue flower clusters from late spring into early summer, creating a breathtaking display against its glossy dark green foliage. Ideal for smaller gardens, sunny borders and patio containers, this neat shrub forms a dense, rounded habit that provides year-round structure.
Thriving in moist, well-drained soil in a sunny position, Ceanothus 'Blue Mound' benefits from a balanced fertiliser in spring to support healthy growth and abundant flowering. Once established, it is drought-tolerant and requires little maintenance beyond light pruning after flowering to keep its shape. Pair with lavender or cistus for a colourful, Mediterranean-inspired planting scheme.
Supplied in approx. 2-3 litre containers.
