Chilli Pepper Plant 'Aji Guyana'

Product ref: VEG26362

Availability: In stock

The elegant long-fruited chilli for colourful harvests, Capsicum baccatum ‘Aji Guyana’, originates from Guyana in South America and produces long, slender fruits typically reaching 10–15cm in length. Ripening to a rich golden-yellow, these smooth, slightly curved chillies offer a fruity, citrusy flavour paired with a moderate heat of around 5000–15000 SHU, making them ideal for fresh salsas, sauces, and vibrant dishes.

Thriving in a warm, sunny, sheltered spot with fertile, well-drained soil, this variety rewards attentive care with heavy crops. Water regularly to keep the soil evenly moist and feed consistently with a balanced fertiliser, switching to a high-potash feed as flowering begins to support fruit development. Pinch out early growth tips to encourage a bushier, more productive plant, and carry out light trimming to maintain structure and airflow. A superb option for growers seeking a productive, flavour-packed chilli that brings both colour and culinary versatility to the garden.

Supplied in approx. 9cm pots.
