Chilli Pepper Plant 'Bird Eye Demon'

The tiny chilli that packs a punch, Capsicum annuum 'Bird Eye Demon', is a prolific and intensely hot variety, perfect for real spice lovers. The slender fruits grow to around 2-4cm in length and mature to a bright red from mid to late summer. With a staggering heat of around 50000-100000 Scoville units, they deliver a fiery kick and are best used for adding to curries or infusing in oils and sauces.
To get the best yield, plant in moist, but well-drained soil in a warm, sheltered, sunny position. Water consistently and feed regularly to ensure heavy fruiting, with occasional pinching to encourage bushier growth. A superb option for home growers, producing exceptionally heavy crops of small chillies that are perfect for preserving and long-term use.
