Chilli Pepper Plant 'Habanero Chocolate'

Product ref: VEG26353

Availability: In stock

The bold cocoa-toned pepper with powerful flavour, Capsicum chinense ‘Habanero Chocolate’, originates from the Americas and is famed for its unique colouring and complex, intense flavour. The wrinkled, lantern-shaped fruits mature to a deep brown, almost mahogany shade, delivering an even hotter punch than standard habaneros, often exceeding 300,000 Scoville units. Beneath the heat lies a distinctive smoky, earthy richness that makes this variety especially prized in robust sauces and spicy marinades.

Best grown in a warm, sunny, sheltered location with nutrient-rich, moist, well-drained soil, plants respond well to regular feeding and consistent moisture, producing generous crops through the season. A superb selection for crafting deeply flavoured hot sauces and adding a smoky heat to slow-cooked dishes and barbecued favourites.

Supplied in approx. 9cm pots.
