Clematis Super Nova

The Clematis Super Nova is a spectacular climber with small to medium-sized, star-shaped flowers from late spring up until early autumn. Each bloom features soft silvery-lilac petals delicately edged in rich violet-purple. This fully hardy variety is perfect for covering trellises, arches, fences and pergolas or weaving through climbing roses or honeysuckles to create a stunning layered effect. It also makes a standout feature in cottage, wildlife and contemporary gardens.

Thriving in full sun or partial shade, in moist, well-drained soil, Clematis 'Super Nova' benefits from keeping its roots cool while allowing foliage to grow in the light. Feed with a balanced fertiliser during the growing season to encourage healthy growth and masses of flowers, and prune according to its flowering group to maintain shape. Similar to 'Venosa Violacea' but more compact and more free-flowering.
