SO HAPPY.Dont hesitate

I ordered 3 on the 26th and they arrived 30th. 3 healthy plants in separate pots, neatly and well packed together. 1 is a gift and the others are now in pots in my garden. One came with a tiny bud too. Tried to send a pic but I obviously don't know how. Sorry. Thankyou so much Gardening Express!!

My Taiga

The plant is now in place against a sunny west facing granite wall in the garden. It has only been in situ for a week but despite blustery wet weather over the last four days small shoots are growing. I am looking forward to it’s flowering.

Stunning Taiger

Purchased this from yourselves last year, as a small 9cm plant, it produced two smallish blooms the first year, and I worried if it would survive the heavy snowfall of this winter.
However, this year, so far, I have had 7 large, amazing blooms that last so long, there are more buds appearing on a weekly basis. I absolutely love this exotic looking Clemetis, I’m thinking of purchasing a second plant. Everyone should have a Clemetis Taiger!

great bargain

Bought 2 in January and received them within two weeks.

Due to the season they were just bare sticks when they arrived but since the beginning of March they have been growing nice healthy looking leaves.

Cant wait for them to flower. Great service from GardeningExpress.

Gorgeous plant

Box came with no damage, plant packaged well and damp. Had this in the windowsill as wrong time of year to plant out. 3 months later it has doubled in size and has flowers. Absolutely love it!

Taiga Clematis Plants thrive in moist, well-drained soils, in full sun or partial shade. They're also good for container planting, being a relatively compact cultivar, although they will reach around 6-8ft (180-240cms) tall pretty quickly. Clematis do best when their roots are in a cool shaded spot, with their 'heads in the sun', so select the brightest position possible and mulch heavily to protect the roots. In particularly hot spots, try and select an area that offers some afternoon shade.

Clematis Taiga belongs to what is known as the third group of Clematis – a group including those Clematis varieties that tend to flower in late summer on fresh growth made that same year. Therefore, they required hard pruning and are best pruned in late winter or early spring. Stems should be cut back to a set of strong looking buds around 30cm (1ft) above ground level before new season growth commences each Spring.
