These hardy Pink Cordylines are really taking the garden world by storm, and it's not hard to see why with their exotic look. Cordyline Charlie Boy is a new comer for adding year round interest to your garden. Deep bronze-purple-red leaves have a wide, distinctive pink edging. The pink colouration is combined with the usual bold sword shaped leaves you'd expect of a Cordyline.
With hardly any green visible in the leaves, the colouration is stunning. This plant will make a lovely container plant for a patio where it's leaves can be gently stirred by the breeze or as a highlight in any garden beds and borders. How lovely would it be sitting in your garden during summer with the shadows cast by these beautiful architectural plants dancing on your patio? It's not just for summer though, being fully hardy and evergreen, it will provide year round interest.
Cordylines can be drought resistant plants, so are ideal for the gardener who occasionally forgets to water too. We recommend growing them in large containers with good drainage or as feature plants in garden beds and borders. Despite the exotic appearance, Charlie Boy Cordylines are reputedly hardy to as low as around -10°c.
Supplied in approx. 1.5-2.5 litre containers.
