Courgette Plant - Shooting Star

Product ref: VEG25115

Availability: Out of stock

Courgette Shooting Star is a new British bred 'climbing' courgette variety with an upright habit and good yields of yellow fruits that are less watery than other varieties. It is well suited for growing against an angled trellis against a fence. Tie the stems regularly to help support the weight of the fruits. Alternatively, simply plant in the ground and the stems will spread to form a nice bushy plant and plentiful fruit.

Plant in full sun in fertile, well-drained soil. Provide sturdy support for it to climb, such as a trellis or netting, as well as consistent watering. For best texture, harvest fruits when they are around 15-20cm long. Combine with companion plants such as marigolds to prevent pests or beans to create a colourful and space-saving food garden.

Supplied in approx. 9cm pots.
