Courgette 'Yellow Golden' is a high-yielding bush variety that brings a brilliant splash of sunshine and a reliable harvest to your summer vegetable patch. Moving away from standard green cultivars, this cheerful variety produces abundantly over a long season, yielding perfectly smooth, straight, bright golden-yellow fruits. Its eye-catching skin makes the courgettes exceptionally easy to spot among the foliage when harvesting, and beneath lies a crisp flesh boasting a wonderfully mild, buttery, and subtly sweet flavour.

Thriving in full sun and a sheltered position, this compact, non-trailing annual is perfectly suited for smaller plots, raised beds, or large container planting on a sunny patio. To unlock a bumper crop, plant it in rich, fertile, well-drained soil, and water generously and copiously directly around the base of the plant. Harvesting the fruits regularly when they are tender and young (around 10–15cm) will keep the plant productive right through to autumn, and you can even pick the large, golden blossoms early to stuff, batter, and fry for a true gourmet garden treat.

Supplied in approx. 9cm pots.
