Crocosmia x crocosmiiflora "George Davidson" - Montbretia

Product ref: P21862

Availability: Out of stock

Crocosmias, also known as Monbretia are fantastic easy to grow garden plants for the herbaceous border, with 'George Davison' no exception, they form dense clumps of upright sword-shaped foliage, that form flowering stems that carry masses of brightly coloured flowers, these appear from mid-late summer and continue in to autumn.

Croscosmia 'George Davison' will dazzle with golden yellow flowers reminiscent of scented freesias. They are ideal for growing in drifts through herbaceous borders, especially through tropical themed areas or hot planting schemes, plus the flowers are excellent in a vase for cutting too. It prefers a well-drained soil in full sun, but is very tolerant of pretty much all but waterlogged soils. Why not try combined with silver foliage or deep blue flowering plants for a real contrast.

Supplied in approx 1 litre containers.
