For most of the year, this is a reliably robust, deep green shrub - it's in autumn that this plant really shines. Right around the first frost, the green foliage makes way for a screaming purple-red colour. More exposed plants and branches turn their colours first, making for a two-tone shrub come October, which is also when the berries take on their red colour.

This plant makes a statement even when seen from some distance away. Few shrubs can rival this for autumn colour, making it a must-have in any garden. This stunning autumn star is will grow to an ultimate height of 2m, making it the perfect addition to your beds or borders, or even kept slightly smaller as a striking patio feature.

Supplied in an approx 7.5-10 litre container, around 80-100cms tall, large bushy plants.

Large and healthy plant
