A relatively new cultivar of Japanese Maple developed in Italy, with golden-yellow to orange new growth that takes on light green tones in summer. In Autumn, we find this Acer turning brilliant golden, red, and orange.

This Orange Dream Japanese Maple will form a densely-branched small tree with bright-green bark and a narrow upright habit. The foliage colour of Acer palmatum Orange Dream is best in partial shade, although full sun can be tolerated. It is ideal for creating a Japanese theme anywhere in your garden.

Great in pots or containers or planted in the ground mixed with other shrubs and Acers.

Remember, the bark of Orange Dream can also offer a nice winter glow, so it offers more than just foliage value in the garden. Absolutely outstanding for autumnal colour. These plants give a wonderful effect in the garden what ever the season.

Supplied as pictured in approx. 2-3 litre container.

Fantastic value for money.

I have just received my order and I’m thrilled. The acer is much bigger than I expected and quite bushy too. Really great value for money.

Beautiful little Japanese maple

Tree arrived very late (A lot to do with Covid) but in good condition and has settled in really well to the border. These delicate trees really do appreciate partial shade rather than full sun. We planted one in a full sun position earlier this year and it has suffered scorch on the leaves. We now have to use an umbrella over it during the summer midday sun! Hopefully as it matures it will stand up for itself a bit more. Overall, apart from the 6 week wait this tree was a great buy at a fantastic price. Just as a side note, eracraciuos compost is far better for a Japanese maple.
