Gaura lindheimeri 'Cherry Brandy'
With its delicate, cherry-red blossoms, Gaura 'Cherry Brandy' is a lovely perennial that lends a quirky touch to any garden. This Gaura cultivar, commonly called wandflower, is highly valued for its extended flowering season, which spans from early summer to autumn. When the wind is blowing, the tiny, star-shaped blooms dance atop thin, wand-like stalks, producing a vibrant display. Its height ranges from 60 to 70 cm, which makes it perfect for rock gardens, border fronts, or as a delicate accent to container plantings.
'Cherry Brandy' needs well-drained soil and grows best in full light. It is a low-maintenance choice for water-wise gardens because of its notable resistance to drought. To contrast its rich, crimson tones, pair it with grasses or lighter-coloured perennials like lavender or white echinacea.
Supplied in approx. 1-2 litre containers.
