Geum Scarlet Tempest

Product ref: P26115

Availability: Out of stock

The flaming orange-red flowers of Geum 'Scarlet Tempest' are a brilliant and vivacious perennial that provide a dramatic touch to any garden. This type is well-known for having a lengthy flowering season, with abundant blooms from late spring to mid-summer. Above the dense, mound-forming foliage, the semi-double blooms, which reach a height of approximately 60cm, are carried aloft on strong, upright stems.

Plant 'Scarlet Tempest' in well-drained soil in either full sun or moderate shade. Although it requires frequent watering to thrive, especially in dry spells, once established, it is usually low-maintenance and drought-resistant. Deep purples or blues, like Salvia or Delphinium, go well with this geum, bringing out its vivid orange tones and giving depth to your garden design.

Supplied in approx. 1-2 litre containers.
