Hydrangea anomala petiolaris
Availability: In stock
The Climbing Hydrangea, or Hydrangea anomala subsp. petiolaris is a beautiful deciduous vine that adds a special beauty to garden walls, fences, and other buildings. Its true beauty is found in its ability to use aerial roots to rise to heights of 30 to 50 feet (about 9 to 15 metres), producing a verdant tapestry against any background it graces. The delicate, ethereal beauty and subtle smell of the white, lacecap flowers of this climbing hydrangea are highly appreciated for their display from late spring to early summer.
Hydrangea anomala petiolaris has dark, glossy green foliage that contrasts sharply with its blossoms and adds year-round appeal, particularly in the autumn when the leaves turn a brilliant yellow.Â
Supplied growing in a 2 litre container.
