Lonicera periclymenum 'Chic et Choc'

Lonicera periclymenum 'Chic et Choc' is a charming semi-evergreen Honeysuckle plant with a compact growth habit suitable for container growing.

It produces beautiful tubular, crimson-purple flower buds in early summer, which open to reveal fragrant flowers of gracious pink-white, eventually maturing to a warm golden-yellow so often associated with honeysuckle.

With an impressively long flowering period from early summer until the end of Autumn this Lonicera helps maintain a more diverse garden palette as the typical autumn colours draw in. The long flowering period is also an excellent attractor of local wildlife such as bees.

The dark rich red stem colour contrasts marvellously with the elliptical blue-green leaves and as a semi-evergreen it will hold its presence in the garden for longer than many deciduous varieties.
