Lysimachia nummularia - Creeping Jenny
Availability: Out of stock
The marvellously named Golden creeping Jenny is a tough little plant that takes a range of conditions and so giving the gardener a range of options.
It lives up to its name by forming a thick mat of creeping stems that hug and cover the soil. It will quite happily put its roots down and tolerates both dry or wet soils and a sunny or partially shady spot in a garden. Its tolerance of water soaked ground makes it an ideal subject for a pond side border or bog garden setting.
Other merits include golden yellow small-rounded leaves and small single buttercup style flowers which appear in summer.
