Maranta Lemon Lime - Prayer Plant

Lemon Lime is a popular variety of Maranta, also known as a prayer plant due to the way the leaves open each morning and close at night. Light green leaves that contrast beautifully with the dark green veins, creating lovely patterns on the foliage. 

Maranta prefer bright but indirect light, direct sunlight can cause the leaves to scorch. Be sure to maintain moist soil but be careful to not over water.

It gets its common name from its leaves, which stay flat during the day and then fold up like praying hands at night.
