Paeonia Sarah Bernhardt - Peony Sarah Bernhart
Availability: In stock
One of the world's most beloved peonies, Paeonia 'Sarah Bernhardt' produces magnificent, fully double blooms in soft appleblossom-pink with delicately ruffled petals and a wonderful sweet fragrance. Flowering in late spring to early summer, its enormous, long-lasting flowers make a spectacular focal point in borders and are highly prized for cut flower arrangements. Supported by strong stems and attractive deep green foliage, this timeless variety adds elegance, romance and classic cottage garden charm to any planting scheme.
Easy to grow and exceptionally long-lived, this traditional favourite thrives in full sun or partial shade in moist, well-drained soil. Once established, it returns bigger and better each year with minimal maintenance. Avoid planting too deeply, stake heavy blooms if required, and remove spent flowers to keep plants looking their best. Pair with roses, lupins or nepeta for a stunning early summer display filled with colour, fragrance and pollinator appeal.
Supplied as large, strong flowering plants in approx 4-5 litre containers.
