These Hakuro Nishiki or Flamingo Salix are an extremely popular plant.

Elegant and fast-growing with new shoots which are heavily blotched with white and pink, fading as the leaf ages.

Slender yellow catkins appear in spring before the leaves.

The branches are long and slightly droop, giving a relaxed feel making it an ideal small tree for growing planted in a pot on the patio, which is why we are supplying two lovely flared black planters.

It will grow no taller than it's current size but will thicken right out year on year to provide an ever better show.

Pair of attractive strong plants supplied as pictured in season, with an approx. height of 90-120cm.

Overall height around 120-150cm when you have planted them into the attractive large flared planters.

These would look great flanking the entrance to your home, or by the rear doors opening out onto the patio.

The two planters provided combine an attractive, opulent look and are very durable and rot-proof.

They will not decay like similar looking planters on the market thanks to the quality materials used in their construction.

I recently ordered a pair of Salix Flamingo plants, although their was a slight delay in despatching them, the delivery was on a particular hot week. My plants arrived in perfect condition and the soil around them was moist. I will definitely order again

Lovely trees

Although I haven't seen them, my friend mentioned that the trees arrived intact and very well-packed. My only concern was the timing of the delivery, taking into account there was two days of bank holiday and I wanted them delivered for a special birthday but they arrived before the bank holidays which was acceptable.

Lovely little trees

Extremely well packed pair of trees, look forward for new leaves

The pair of flemingo trees were extremely well packed as showed in the attached image and were delivered with care. They were so well peacked that I have to cut through the cardboard box to get them out:)
It is may be winter, that both trees are in hibination, therefore do not have leaves like what other buyer shows, can not wait for those beautiful white and pink leaves when it gets warmer.
The two planters we're 28l in size, same as shown by other buyers.

Salix Flamingo Topiary trees

This is my first order from Gardening Express, from ordering to delivery in 7 days which was great. The trees came we packed, very healthy looking and not dry. They will be planted up in the really nice fluted planters tomorrow and I look forward to seeing them in bloom next spring. If this is the standard of all their plants, more orders will follow .
