Cortaderia 'White Mistral' is a majestic Ornamental Grass originating from South America.  Stout stems carry huge, graceful, feathery heads of silky, creamy-white flowers. Fully hardy in the UK and resistant to drought and freezing temperatures, this plant is perfect for use as both a solitary specimen and a focal point. 

'White Mistral' is ideal for a late summer and autumn effect. Plumes still look attractive in winter when covered with frost. The dense plumes of pampas grass on strong, erect stems in late summer and autumn are held high above clumps of arching mid-green leaves. This is a beautiful ornamental grass that makes a notable feature.
