Phlox subulata Purple Beauty

Phlox subulata 'Purple Beauty' is a stunning mat-forming perennial that bursts into bloom in spring with masses of star-shaped, lavender-purple flowers with darker centres. Its dense, evergreen foliage makes it an excellent ground cover, ideal for rockeries, borders, or spilling over walls.

This variety adds a bold splash of colour early in the season and helps suppress weeds thanks to its spreading habit. Best planted in full sun and well-drained soil. Once established, it’s drought-tolerant and requires little maintenance.
