Phyllostachys aurea 'Aureocaulis', commonly known as Yellow-Groove Bamboo, is a vigorous, upright bamboo prized for its striking golden-yellow canes, often streaked with green. Its tall architectural form and lush, narrow green foliage make it an excellent choice for creating dramatic screens, tall hedging, or focal points in larger gardens.

Ideal for adding height and structure, it brings a bold, exotic feel to contemporary, tropical, or Japanese-style garden designs. This colourful variety looks great alongside the ebony-black canes of the black bamboo, Phyllostachys nigra. This aptly-named bamboo is highly recommended.
