Bring year-round colour and structure to your garden with Picea pungens 'Blue Diamond', a compact, slow-growing spruce with an elegant conical shape and intensely silvery-blue needles. Its dense foliage and neat form make it ideal as a specimen tree, for screening, or as a focal point in mixed borders and winter displays. The strong blue tones remain distinct throughout the seasons, adding contrast to green-leaved plants.
Thrives in full sun with moist, well-drained soil and is tolerant of wind, frost, and urban conditions. Low-maintenance once established. Pair with Cornus alba 'Sibirica' or Euphorbia characias ‘Silver Swan’ for a high-contrast, all-season planting that enhances its icy-blue elegance.
