Pinguicula agnata, or butterwort, is a fascinating carnivorous plant that gives any collection of plants a distinctive look. This tiny plant that forms rosettes has succulent, reddish-green leaves that are coated in sticky glands that catch and eat tiny insects. Apart from its carnivorous habits, Pinguicula agnata also has lovely violet-like flowers that bloom on occasion all year long, which give its unusual appearance a delicate beauty.

Place in bright, indirect light and keep in a shallow tray of rainwater or distilled water. Prefers a humid environment and well-drained, low-nutrient soil. Perfect for indoor displays, terrariums, or carnivorous plant collections. Avoid fertilisers and dry conditions.
