Nepeta Trailing Variegata

Nepeta Trailing Variegata is a unique cultivar known for its cascading habit and elegantly variegated leaves trimmed in creamy white. This perennial grows elegant, trailing mounds that flow gracefully from hanging baskets, containers, or along the edges of sunny borders and walls.  In early to midsummer, tiny spikes of light lavender-blue blooms rise above the scented leaves, attracting bees, butterflies, and other pollinators.

Nepeta thrives in well-drained soil and full light. Once established, it is drought-tolerant and low-maintenance. Trim back after flowering to stimulate a new flush of growth and more flowers. Ideal for providing movement and gentle scent to patios, rockeries, or cottage gardens, it pairs well with trailing petunias, calibrachoa, or hardy geraniums to create a gently textured, wildlife-friendly display.
