Large 6-7ft Specimen Climbing Rose - Rose filipes Kiftsgate

A Rose that really makes an impression, ‘Kiftsgate’ is a vigorous fast growing rambler. In late summer huge sprays of fragrant white flowers cloak the light green foliage, these are followed by tiny orange red hips. As the summer ends this Rose still has one more trick in its locker as it produces good autumn colour. This Rose is a strong character that can reach up to ten metres in height and would be perfect for a large wall or even to cover a garage or out-building. Prune out weak and dead growth in late winter and retain an eight to ten strong looking stems that will produce the next seasons flower.
