Sollya heterophylla 'White' - Bluebell creeper

Product ref: S25306

Availability: Out of stock

This Australian climber is a great addition to any garden, perfect for training on a trellis, arch, or pergola. Commonly referred to as the bluebell creeper, this plant displays stunning bluebell-like bright blooms, but rather than the typical blue, this one is white. The blooms hang downwards in clusters along the woody stems. Its strong twining stems bear delicate green, lance-shaped foliage all year round. Their growth habit makes them great for weaving up supports or along a sunny wall. This plant blooms throughout summer and is rich in nectar, attracting butterflies, bees, and other pollinators to your garden. With an eventual height of 1.5-2 metres Sollya heterophylla can give you masses of colour.

Bluebell creepers grow best in full sun but can tolerate partial shade. Plant in moist but well-drained soil or compost and grow in a container if you are in a colder region of the UK. It is a half hardy plant so make sure to shelter it from cold winter winds.

Supplied in approx. 2 litre containers.
