Betula Jacquemontii 'Silver Shadow' - Himalayan Birch - Circa 2m Tall
Bring light and elegance to your garden with the Betula Jacquemontii 'Silver Shadow', a spectacular Himalayan Birch admired for its brilliant, snow-white bark. Its upright form is clothed in mid-green foliage before transforming into a rich golden yellow in autumn. In spring, slender yellow catkins add an extra touch of charm, while the tree’s smooth bark ensures it remains a showpiece even through the winter months. Reaching around 8–10m tall, it forms a graceful, slender crown that suits both small and large gardens.
Perfect for modern landscapes, woodland gardens, or as a striking specimen tree, ‘Silver Shadow’ thrives in full sun to partial shade and grows best in moist, fertile, well-drained soils. Low-maintenance and hardy, it only requires the removal of dead or crossing branches in winter. Plant in groups for a dazzling grove effect, or underplant with grasses, ferns, heathers, or spring bulbs to highlight its glowing trunk. With its year-round beauty and graceful presence, Betula 'Silver Shadow' is a timeless choice for adding structure to your garden.
Supplied in 12 litre containers at Circa 2m tall
