Topiary Ball - Ilex crenata Green Glory Luxus - Box leaved Japanese Holly

I ordered 6 of these ilex crenata balls and they arrived a great size, very healthy, well packaged and very promptly. They look great in the garden. I have had bad experiences ordering plants online from other websites and was worried but I am so glad I ordered from gardening express. I will be placing more orders in the future.

Ordered 4 of these Ilex crenata, beautifully shaped ball topiary, really great alternative to box wood. Can't tell a difference in leave shape and colour from the usual boxwood hedges just without having to worry about boxwood pest or diseases! Have yet to plant out in the garden, but a great addition for the Japanese garden! Also arrived really well packaged with minimal damage or loose soil in the box and all the roots looks healthy!

Very happy with this plant and impressed by its attractive appearance. So glad I chose this variety. It arrived with another two plants in good time and was very well packed to prevent compost escaping and to ensure safe delivery. Not yet planted, as it is going into an area where a tree was recently removed, and I was advised to wait a few months before planting in that spot.

Wow. I’m blown away. I’ve used similar sites in the past and they have been so slow with bad communication. There was communication with my delivery through every process which was great. So knew exactly what was going on.

I made the most of the offer and bought 2 of these as the buxus I had either side of my front door were devoured by caterpillars! After a bit of research these Japanese holly are hopefully resistant to pests and blight.

The quality of these plants are amazing. They have a good weight to them so have a good root system and are look very healthy!! If correct and same as my cloud tree these have new growth a few times a year so will look even better in a year or two.

The packaging was great - well secured in the box with room so they didn’t get squashed and broken. The delivery courier gardening express use are great too and give you regular updates once they have the package.

I am so impressed I’ve recommended gardening express to friends who have already made orders!
