Vinca minor Ralph Shugert - Blue flowering variegated Periwinkle

Vinca minor 'Ralph Shugert' is a tough and resilient plant that thrives in virtually any garden position - be that full sun to those tricky shaded spots beneath trees and shrubs. Over several months from spring to autumn, large violet-blue flowers appear amongst the attractively variegated foliage, this in itself has appeal being dark green with wide yellow-margins.

Its trailing habit makes it ideal for cascading over walls or filling gaps between shrubs. Hardy and resilient, it thrives in both sun and partial shade, tolerating dry and poor soils with ease. Plant in well-drained soil in sun or partial shade. Water regularly until established, then only in dry periods.
