Enjoy sweet, juicy cherries right from your doorstep with the Stella Patio Cherry Tree, a self-fertile variety perfect for smaller gardens and container growing. In spring, this charming tree bursts into life with clusters of icy-white blossoms, a stunning display that also draws in bees and butterflies.
Â
By July, the tree is dripping with glossy, dark red cherries. Each fruit is plump, succulent, and richly sweet, making them perfect for snacking straight from the branch or for baking into delicious tarts and puddings. Despite its manageable size, Stella is a prolific cropper, ensuring baskets of fruit year after year.
Â
Maintain simply by watering in dry spells, mulching in spring, and pruning lightly after fruiting. Perfect for patios, courtyards, and balconies, this tree thrives in full sun and enjoys fertile, well-drained soil. Its compact growth makes it easy to care for while still delivering impressive harvests. The Stella Patio Cherry Tree is an outstanding choice for anyone wanting orchard-quality cherries in even the smallest of spaces.
Â
Supplied in approx. 12 litre containers grafted on a Gisela rootstock. This semi-dwarfing cherry variety produces smaller trees with an ultimate height of 3m. Trees are easily maintained at a manageable size. If planting multiples, plant in loamy, fertile soil around 2.7m apart.
