Zinnia elegans - Luminosa

Zinnia elegans 'Luminosa' is a beautiful heirloom annual producing large, semi-double to double blooms in soft rosy-pink shades throughout summer. The elegant flowers feature layers of gently overlapping petals surrounding warm golden centres, creating a romantic and long-lasting display in borders, cottage gardens and cutting plots. Highly attractive to bees, butterflies and other pollinators, this charming variety also makes an excellent cut flower for summer bouquets and arrangements.

Growing to around 75cm+ in height, this vigorous variety flowers continuously with regular deadheading and benefits from occasional watering during prolonged dry periods. Tall stems may appreciate light support in exposed locations. Plant in full sun and fertile, well-drained soil for the best results. Pair with cosmos and nigella for a brilliant display of contrasting bedding and pollinator-friendly interest.
