Acer palmatum 'Iyoshi' is a graceful Japanese maple with finely divided, deeply lobed leaves that emerge bright green with a pink variegation in spring. Some leaves will even be entirely pink. They then turn a rich scarlet colour in autumn. Its delicate foliage and elegant branching structure offer year-round interest, making it a standout feature in any garden. Compact and slow-growing, it’s ideal for smaller spaces, containers, or Japanese-style planting schemes.
Prefers partial shade and moist, well-drained, slightly acidic soil. Protect from harsh winds and hot afternoon sun. Perfect for shady borders, patio pots, or as a focal point in tranquil garden settings.
