Acer palmatum Yezo Nishiki - Japanese Maple

Product ref: S1M007

Availability: In stock

Acer palmatum ‘Yezo Nishiki’ is a refined and elegant Japanese maple, adorned with palmate leaves that emerge in soft green tones before developing rich red and crimson highlights as the seasons progress. The foliage has a delicate, layered quality that brings a sense of calm and sophistication to the garden. Its naturally graceful branching structure makes it an amazing focal point, whether planted as a specimen tree or used to add depth and colour to mixed borders.

This acer thrives in a sheltered position with dappled shade or gentle morning sun, protected from strong winds and harsh afternoon light, and prefers moist but well-drained soil. To maintain the plant, keep the soil evenly moist during dry periods, apply a mulch of leaf mould or bark to protect the roots, and restrict pruning to the removal of dead or crossing branches in late winter or early spring.

Supplied in approx. 2 litre containers.
