Get that totally tropical jungle look on your patio or in vibrant beds and borders for summer with this gorgeous Alocasia Giant Elephant Ear, or even use indoors as a tropical house plant. The spectacular foliage is perfect for planting in full sun to partial shade.

They are a wonderful addition to the landscape or when planted in large containers, adding a touch of the tropics to your garden. They are also good near water - Koi pond owners may be interested to know that Alocasias are often planted in filter chambers where they suck every last drop of nitrate from the water.

These are greedy plants and will produce the lushest of leaves if fed regularly. Grows best in full sun or dappled shade. Each leaf can reach up to a metre in length itself.

Don't forget they are perfect grown indoors as a house plant too, where they are now a very popular trend.

Strong plants supplied in approx.12cm pots.

Perfect specimens

Couldn’t be more pleased

Have ordered quite a few plants from Gardening Express and all have arrived in very good condition by a friendly delivery company. I ordered 3 elephant ears to place around my pond in order to provide some shade for the fish. I didn’t read the description properly as I was expecting bulbs! I was so pleased to receive 3 pot plants growing well in pots. I have just placed these in my conservatory until spring. Couldn’t be more pleased with this company.
