Acer palmatum Atrolineare (60-80cms tall in 2 litre containers)
A firm favourite, the 'Atrolineare' Maple is an award-winning variety with beautiful, highly unusual foliage. Delicate looking, deeply cut leaves cover its arching branches, as this Acer grows to create a softly rounded canopy of intense red-purple in summer, turning to fantastic shades of red and orange in the autumn. Despite its delicate appearance, it is like all the Acers a very hardy plant.

Acer palmatum Skeeters Broom (60-80cms tall in 2 litre containers)
With substantial palmately-lobed leaves that treat your garden to various shades of red and purple from spring through to autumn, this is another favourite Acer. Simply stand alone on a patio or deck and enjoy the colour show or plant amongst other trees or shrubs for more contrasting colour interest.

Acer palmatum Aoyagi (80-100cms tall in 3 litre containers)
Aoyagi forms a striking upright specimen with beautiful pea-green branches in the winter months making it ideal to contrast with other plants for interest at the bleaker times of the year such as the Red-stemmed Acer Sango Kaku or Dogwoods. The foliage emerges as a nice bright green in spring, and remains so through out the year providing a wonderful foliage contrast to the other varieties in the collection. In autumn these leaves shade through fiery shades of orange and yellow.
