Enjoy the perfect blend of sweetness and crispness with the Fiesta apple tree, also known as Red Pippin. This modern dessert apple offers firm, juicy fruit with a flavour similar to Cox’s Orange Pippin but with better disease resistance and longer storage life. Its attractive red-blushed apples are ready to harvest in early autumn and store well into winter, making it a favourite for home growers. Fiesta is partially self-fertile (pollination group 3), but you'll get heavier crops if planted near a suitable pollination partner. Prune annually in winter to maintain a balanced shape and encourage quality fruiting. Combine with James Grieve or Christmas Pippin for a deliciously diverse home orchard.
Supplied in approx. 12 litre containers grafted on a MM106 rootstock, this semi-dwarf variety of rootstock reaches an ultimate height of 3-5m and most of the crop should be accessible from the ground, picking fruit from higher up on the tree may require a ladder..
