Begonia Leaf Masoniana 'Iron Cross'
Availability: Out of stock
Begonia masoniana 'Iron Cross' is a striking foliage plant prized for its unique leaves. Each large, rough-textured leaf is a vibrant lime green, boldly marked with a deep chocolate-brown cross pattern at the center—resembling the German Iron Cross, from which it gets its name. The leaf surface is puckered and almost reptilian, adding a tactile intrigue to its exotic appearance.

While it does produce small, pinkish-white blooms in spring or summer, its real appeal lies in its ornamental foliage. This plant thrives in high humidity and indirect light. Direct sun can scorch its leaves, so bright, filtered light is best.
Begonia masoniana prefers well-draining, peat-rich soil with consistent moisture—never soggy. To maintain its health and beauty, keep it out of drafts, avoid overwatering, and mist lightly or use a humidity tray in dry environments.
