Berberis x frikartii 'Amstelveen' - Barberry

Berberis Frikartii Amstelveen is an evergreen flowering shrub, loved for its decorative foliage and flowers, combined with being easy to grow, tough and hardy. It has small neat foliage with a silvery underside that is complimented by masses of yellow flowers in Spring. These are followed by blue-black berries in the autumn before they are taken by the birds. The foliage persist on the arching stems throughout the winter, with the deep green colour often turning red in the cold weather to offer a stunning display of multi-coloured foliage.

Versatile and adaptable, Berberis Amstelveen is tough and hardy and perfect for mixed shrub border, planting en-masse or even used as a low hedge. Supplied in approx 2-3 litre containers.
